The Earth is not 'hanging on nothing' (nor is anything else). The Earth is falling towards the Sun

Leviticus 15:13 is the procedure one is supposed to follow after an infection has been overcome, and before going near the shaman... it refers to a ceremonial post-infection ritual, and has nothing to do with prevention

How much of this nonsense would you like me to debunk?

For example, if you stand atop a hill and look around the horizon, it seems that the Earth is a circle. The ancient Greeks demonstrated that the Earth is a sphere... all you need are two sticks... several centuries before the bible was even around. In fact, the the ancient Greek geographer Eratosthenes calculated the circumference of the Earth to within a few percentage points of its true value... using a couple of sticks!

Paths of the sea? Now you really are stretching.

Enough of this

There is not one single scientific claim in the bible that is correct or wasn’t already known centuries before the bible appeared.

Who watches this pap!?

@GodSpeed63 Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity says... and the evidence says.

The Earth is falling towards the Sun. Come on, this is basic stuff

The Earth is within the gravitational field of the Sun so of course it is falling toward the Sun. That isn't even debatable

Dr. Christopher Baird
The earth does fall down. In fact, the earth is constantly falling down. It's a good thing too, because that is what keeps the earth from flying out of the solar system under its own momentum. Gravity is a centrally attractive force, meaning that objects in a gravitational field always fall towards the source of the gravity. Gravity is caused by mass, so objects with more mass, such as planets and stars, exert a lot of gravity. The earth and everything on it is constantly falling towards the sun because of the sun's immense gravity. This statement is not a metaphor or a play on words. The earth is literally falling towards the sun under its immense gravity.

So why don't we hit the sun and burn up? Fortunately for us, the earth has a lot of sideways momentum. Because of this sideways momentum, the earth is continually falling towards the sun and missing it. Scientists use fancy phrases for this effect such as "stable orbit" or "closed trajectory", but fundamentally what they mean is "falling and missing". All gravitational orbits are actually cases of falling and missing. Astronauts on the International Space Station are not in a no-gravity environment. They are surrounded by the earth's and the sun's immense gravity. More correctly, the astronauts are in a state of free fall. Astronauts in orbit are constantly falling towards the earth and missing it.
It sure is debatable when the earth is still in perfect orbit around the sun. Otherwise it'd dry up if it got too close to the sun and wouldn't be fit for life.
@GodSpeed63 They mean it falls in a circle following the gravitational manifold of the sun's gravity well. The outward centripetal force is counter balanced by the pull of the sun keeping it in a stable orbit.

Even you are not that stupid

@CookieLuvsBunny
I stand corrected. It isn't debatable for anyone that understands even elementary school science
Start with high school science first, true science that is and not evoltion pseudo scinence, @CookieLuvsBunny, then work your way up to college level. Okay?

@GodSpeed63
That isn't an intelligent answer. How do you suppose the Earth orbits the sun? Is Pegasus pulling it behind its' wings of gold?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 Mass shows spacetime how to bend, and spacetime shows mass how to move.

The Earth keeps missing the Sun because the Sun is falling towards the centre of the Milky Way galaxy.

The Milky Way galaxy is falling towards the Andromeda galaxy, which is falling towards... well, you get the idea.

‘hanging in space’.... what a joke! I'll repeat... there is not one single scientific claim in the bible that has been confirmed through science , or which wasn’t already known hundreds of years earlier.
