How can anyone think that this beautiful world isn't created by God? [Spirituality & Religion]

I just can't logically understand how order can come from chaos. It just isn't possible. Any logical brain understands that order has to come from a maker, not chaos. There has to be a creator! A watch could never make itself, or a train, or a cell. Nope, not possible! Also it is so beautiful🌸!!

God created everything beautiful🌷! And He created time in perfect order, perfect years, months, weeks, and days. And divided time in two, before Christ and after Christ!🌤️ And gave us such a wonderful world, beautiful meadows, gorgeous oceans, and mountains, and such yummy food, such enjoyable company, intimate moments, beautiful lovemaking, gorgeous sunrises, and sunsets. God is so good! Boy we have messed it up with our hate, greed, complaining, and blaming when we have only ourselves to blame!

how order can come from chaos

So you see things as they now are and arbitrarily pronounce that to be order. If things were different, then they would be a different order.

A watch could never make itself

So because a watch had to have a designer, everything had to have a designer? That’s a non sequitur

The rest of your post is merely your subjective characterisations, offered as part of your Argument from Personal Incredulity (you can’t comprehend it, so therefore you assume the right to just invent whatever convenient fiction suits you personally)

That's right.

@newjaninev2 So how did the universe come to be? Give it your best answer. You can deny it in the morning.

@newjaninev2 Sounds more like you can’t comprehend God so you dismiss him! 😏 It is impossible that this universe came by from chance and that made life possible!

@hippyjoe1955 How did your god come to be?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Carazaa I dismiss the need to even so much as postulate your god. The postulation explains nothing, and seeks to merely explain everything away.

it’s the explanation you offer when you’re not offering an explanation
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2 Look up the word eternal. You might actually learn something. Oh right you will deny it in the morning anyways. Too Funny.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@hippyjoe1955 Why don’t you simply tell me what you mean... or is it asking too much that you make a clear and concise statement?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2 So you don't know that time began with the big bang? Strange.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@hippyjoe1955 What does that have to do with urging me to look up the meaning of the word ‘eternal’?

is that your idea of a clear and concise statement?

Really?

(by the way... it was spacetime that began with the Big Bang. What you think of as ‘time’ doesn’t actually exist. You really should try to get your evasions right)

So if I put my headphones in my pocket, pull them back out after a while and they're all knotted it means an intelligent being tied those knots while they were in my pocket?

Makes more sense than you believing that a tornado can go through a junkyard and come up with a working 747.

Plus, if everything requires a designer, as you say, your god also must have one. So who created your god?

The Designer didn't need a designer.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@GodSpeed63 She can't get her head around Eternal. She thinks it has something to do with material. She is a materialist after all. That and a denialist. She denies everything she ever says at least twice.

@newjaninev2
How did your god come to be?

His Word says that He was always here.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@GodSpeed63 If I have a car and I remove the steering wheel is it still a car? If I remove one part after another when does it stop being a car?
All things are just labelled.
Same with chaos and disorder..just labels. Even a label is just labelled.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63 If it’s in any any valid to claim that your god was always here, then it’s equally valid to claim that the universe was always here... in which case your god becomes surplus to requirements
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@GodSpeed63
a tornado can go through a junkyard

Yo assume that the tornado was trying to make a 747, and that it was trying to make it complete and entire in an instant.

In fact, that’s what you claim about your god... despite the tsunami f evidence that no such thing occurred
@GodSpeed63 Can you produce your God where I am so I can meet him in person?

If not, why doesn't he listen to you? One could conclude that your God isn't interested in whether I believe in him or not.

@Carazaa Could your God if he wanted to make a universe come about by chance? Remember you said it's impossible...

@Emosaur
• False analogy (We've seen planes being built, but we've never seen a universe, galaxy, or planet being built. Plus, planes are made of already existing materials and weren't created from nothing, so following your analogy the creator of "everything" must have used already existing materials to create the universe, galaxies and planets.)

True analogy (His Word says that He made the heavens and the earth. That's true science.)

• False cause (There is merely a correlation between complexity and design, not a causation.)

True cause (God created the heavens and the earth for His good pleasure.)

Non sequitur (Even if we considered the argument as valid, all it would prove is that there is an intelligent designer, and that's it. You'd still have all the work ahead of you to prove that this designer is the specific deity you believe in.)

Sequitur (Yahweh's Word says that He is the only God who made the heavens and the earth.)

Special pleading (If you say everything required a designer you're saying that your god also required one. You then making an arbitrary exception for him is highly fallacious.)

Not special pleading (God is the only Designer that didn't need a designer.)
