Why does God find it appropriate to cause mass extinctions for his own mistakes? [Spirituality & Religion]

You’re assuming God, who is perfect and cannot err, makes mistakes. He does not. Also, we shouldn’t be quick to judge, when we do not know some of the spiritual reasons why things happen in this world. God is smarter and wiser than we’ll ever be. God is not the problem. Sinful man is. God is not willing that any perish. To prove that, He gave sinful man 100 years to repent of his sins in Noah’s day. One would have thought man would surely have caught on, about sin and rebellion against God by then, but he never seems to learn from his mistakes.
