Let’s not confuse faith with works, when it comes to salvation. [Spirituality & Religion]

The good things we do for Jesus, come AFTER we are saved, and not BEFORE...(lest we boast that it was US who saved ourselves from the death penalty brought on by sin, which is an impossibility.) Jesus said time and time again, you CANNOT work your way to heaven by doing good works OR by doing good deeds! NOR by trying to be a good person, NOR by leaving it to FATE!! Jesus said you MUST repent and ASK for forgiveness, inviting Jesus into your heart and life, as your personal Lord and Savior.

Can you think of any other way to make it to heaven? Idols won’t get us there, according to the scriptures. Idols are anything you worship, instead of, or in place of, Jesus. Statues are lifeless. They cannot see, nor hear. How can they answer you? How can they save you, if they cannot hear your prayers? Jesus warns against worshipping idols. He said they are false gods. He also said this:

Whether you believe God or man, is up to you. Personally, I wouldn’t trust fallible man, who cannot even save himself. I trust Jesus, who cannot lie, as He is perfect.

I am 100% certain that Jesus is real, and “the way”. What some may call arrogance, is confidence, backed up by 46 years of experiencing Jesus. He’s never let me down, I guarantee! I also witnessed God (by His Spirit, through prayer) heal my friend of pancreatic cancer two weeks ago, and have the documentation from the doctor, that proves he HAD it. Now, he is cancer-free and better than ever. Only God can do that.
