Because the date is different each year.

@MrBrownstone And that forms your belief that Jesus did not rise from the dead exactly how?
It is always celebrated by Christians around the time of the Jewish Passover, because the historical events occurred around Passover.
For various historical reasons in the West Christians celebrate it on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the equinox.

@beckychandler Because you don’t know when it happened.

@MrBrownstone I am sure someone with more knowledge could give a date. They would have to go back and figure out when Passover was celebrated between AD 30 and 36.
A different calendar system was used then by the Hebrews and the Romans, and we have since had several revisions of the calendar --which has made all exact dates except in very modern history difficult to nail down.

@beckychandler Must not have been that important if the date is unclear.
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@MrBrownstone so if the date was the same you would believe?
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@TheWildEcho It would help.

@MrBrownstone yes I agree
