What does natural disaster has to do with punishement of our sins? [Spirituality & Religion]

I give an example.
An earthquake, tsunami, wildfire. Some people tend to blame it towards non - believers. I mean, come on.
Give me scientific relation between these two things.

I remember homophobics blame lgbtq community for disasters happen in their place. You know, they quoted bibical from story of "Sodom and Gommorah."

Huhh.

PS: Global warming is happening, why don't blame ourselves for corrupting our planet. Sigh.

Let’s see what the Bible says about it. Not all natural disasters are from God, but when people are warned excessively, for even years, and they do not heed that warning and are stubborn, yes, disaster may take place, but God always gives plenty of chances to repent, and ample warning.

For example, during Noah’s day, people laughed at, and mocked God. God warned them to quit their sinning against him in the many ways they did, but they wouldn’t listen. Wickedness and rebelliousness were throughout the land and growing even worse. They were given 100 years to repent, but refused. People need to take God more seriously. They just don’t get, that God will not be mocked.
