If you ask a preacher a question about something he just preached, and he says 'I was just preaching the word.'... [Spirituality & Religion]

Does that mean everything he said was supposed to be straight from God, and therefore unabe to be enquired about? Or is it just really bad manners to ask questions about something that was preached?

I really don’t get that. He should definitely have an answer for every question. We’re supposed to ask questions, if we’re puzzled on something preached.
