If you ask a preacher a question about something he just preached, and he says 'I was just preaching the word.'... [Spirituality & Religion]

Does that mean everything he said was supposed to be straight from God, and therefore unabe to be enquired about? Or is it just really bad manners to ask questions about something that was preached?

I think one has to be careful in interpolating things preachers say. They are human and therefore subject to the temptations all humans are and full of errors as all humans are.
