Why do people get into atheism? [Spirituality & Religion]

I few years ago I moved town and I started hanging round with Atheists. I guess I was just trying to fit in I guess but pretty soon I decided I didnt like being Atheist and it made me feel silly. Looking back, it was justa phase I was going through. Why do atheists do it?

You don't 'get into' any belief system... Its what you believe.
I was a Catholic, an atheist, agnostic and now a spiritualist and as I moved through belief systems I've realized that they are all valid and I find it strange that any adult cannot comprehend that tbh.
When I was a teenage atheist I found it strange anyone could believe in a god but then I grew up and expanded my mind
