Why do people get into atheism? [Spirituality & Religion]

I few years ago I moved town and I started hanging round with Atheists. I guess I was just trying to fit in I guess but pretty soon I decided I didnt like being Atheist and it made me feel silly. Looking back, it was justa phase I was going through. Why do atheists do it?

Just like every other religion: some feel that way and it makes sense to them more than any other option. Some simply want to belong. Some are lazy and take it because it's the simple answer and don't have to think for themselves, they learned some science in school why try and think for themselves and wonder beyond that? ... Each person has their own reasons we can't put an atheist label on all of them and judge them.
