Life after death and judgement when? [Spirituality & Religion]

When Christ was crucified, one of the thieves had asked Jesus why he did not save himself as he had done nothing wrong to deserve crucifixion. Jesus answered him by saying that he would be with him in heaven that day.
Christ also stated in His teachings that you must be born again and if you confessed your sins and believed in His forgiveness of sins, you would have everlasting life after death. Christ also said that it is natural for us to die, then judgement, but the gift of life is eternal for those who believe in Him.
Now, in the book of Revelations, when Christ returns to earth, (His second coming,) it states that the dead in Christ shall rise from the grave.
Question 1. Assuming you are born again, have followed and believed in Christ's teachings, etc., when you physically die and are buried, do you, (your soul,) go to heaven immediately?
Question 2. If so, are you judged by God then or must one wait until Christ returns and are risen from the grave before you are judged and able to enter Heaven?

Answer for your 2nd question: You are Judged by God the second you die then you go to either Heaven or Hell then when Christ comes again then EVERYONE will be Judged (even the ones who went to Hell) and it is let known to everyone the sins you had committed in your life. If you confessed your sins to a Catholic Priest through the Sacrament of Penance before you died then you will go to Heaven BUT even though you confessed all of your sins before you died God will still show them in front of everyone. You will get Judged twice, the Particular Judgement is when you get Judged RIGHT AFTER YOU DIE, and the 2nd is The General Judgement where you and everyone who lived will be judged at the same time.

@BD1998 I found your in depth answers very interesting even though I do not personally subscribe to Catholicism. Also, you did not back up anything you stated with Bible references.
