Life after death and judgement when? [Spirituality & Religion]

When Christ was crucified, one of the thieves had asked Jesus why he did not save himself as he had done nothing wrong to deserve crucifixion. Jesus answered him by saying that he would be with him in heaven that day.
Christ also stated in His teachings that you must be born again and if you confessed your sins and believed in His forgiveness of sins, you would have everlasting life after death. Christ also said that it is natural for us to die, then judgement, but the gift of life is eternal for those who believe in Him.
Now, in the book of Revelations, when Christ returns to earth, (His second coming,) it states that the dead in Christ shall rise from the grave.
Question 1. Assuming you are born again, have followed and believed in Christ's teachings, etc., when you physically die and are buried, do you, (your soul,) go to heaven immediately?
Question 2. If so, are you judged by God then or must one wait until Christ returns and are risen from the grave before you are judged and able to enter Heaven?

O.K 1st of all He did not tell the thief that made fun of Him and told Him to save Himself that he would be in Paradise that day. He told the other thief on the other side who is known as the "Good Thief" because He asked for forgiveness. Now to answer your 1st question... No you are judged and this is called the Particular Judgement when you are Judged by yourself. No other person who has lived on this earth and died will be with you. When anybody dies they will get this Judgement whether they followed Christ or not. If you died with a MORTAL SIN (any thought, desire, word, action, or omission must be seriously wrong or considered seriously wrong, the sinner must be mindful of the serious wrong, the sinner must give full consent to it.) on your soul, you will go to Hell. If you die with a venial sin on your soul then you can't go to Heaven(at least not until you have made up for those sins and are cleansed in Purgatory( which wont be existing when the world ends because we wont need it any more because the only options we have are Heaven and Hell. AT your particular Judgement if you had a Mortal sin on your soul and then went to Hell then at the General Judgement where everyone gets Judged in front of everyone who ever lived then you will still go to Hell and that will be for all Eternity. It wont be Gods fault because everyone has freewill to commit a sin or not so it will be your own fault if you go to Hell.
