Should religion be banned? [Spirituality & Religion]

With all the fighting and purging in the name of religion....is religion causing more harm than good? And should it be banned?

Evil will exist either way. Some evil just prefers to hide behind "religion". It's like trying to ban guns in order to end violence. Yeah, it will make a small dent in the numbers, but it causes just as many issues as it solves without dealing with the root of the problem.
