I believe that is more an eastern belief. Not anything to do with cults.

@Ladyofemotions Wiccan is an eclectic religion and can take things from many different beliefs including the Abrahamic religions.
Yes, as you’ve said, witches do that. It is better to put our trust in God, than put confidence in man. @Ladyofemotions
