Dear athiests and "scientists" [Spirituality & Religion]

You guys are really annoying, Not only do you guys just bash on everything that your peers haven't written, you are so quick to say "oh that doesn't exist it can't happen" as opposed to what a real scientist would do, and inquire. NOTHING shall be said no to, even if current stuff doesn't show, as no one knows this world 100% to say such a thing. Quite foolish to keep spouting the "oh that's not real" crap when you're not even going to take a look at it, instead rely on the stuff people in the past wrote.

My friend, there are no such people that are atheists except for those skeptics lying 6 feet under their headstones. The skeptics like to think they're atheists but they're not. As for trying to discredit God and His Word, all they ever accomplish is ridicule and acting like spoiled brats. That's what's annoying about them. Professing themselves to be wise they become fools. It's a crying shame to see people like these guys to throw themselves in the mud thinking they'll come out clean.

@GodSpeed63 *yawn* this old tired act. I do love it whenever you trot this out and try and act like YOU know ME better than I know myself. Always good for a laugh and a head shake at how out of touch with reality you are.

LOL these guys are something else. I'm not the one who knows you better than yourself but my God does. He gets a laugh out of guys trying to discredit Him and wind up discrediting yourselves instead. But, His laugh is different from yours.

@GodSpeed63 So, this is something you have denied before, your god talks directly to you, like a voice in your head talking? Does he then proceed to tell you information about how he knows me better than I know myself?

I wouldn't go around telling people about the voices in your head.

God only has one voice, not many. He talks to my heart, not my head. No, I don't mean my heart of flesh.
I feel like debating religion with Atheists is kind of pointless because we're just coming from different places. I can debate Christianity with other Christians, but that's it.

@GoodCatholicGirl Yes you can't describe a rainbow to a blind man either. Great fun laughing at their foolishness though.
@Pherick The Bible gives an excellent way of testing Gods and prophets.

"Set forth your case, says the LORD; bring your proofs, says the King of Jacob. Let them bring them, and tell us what is to happen. Tell us the former things, what they are, that we may consider them, that we may know their outcome; or declare to us the things to come. Tell us what is to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods; do good, or do harm, that we may be dismayed and terrified."

Any that claim to come in the name of God and can't do these things the next verse calls detestable.

@hippyjoe1955 I don't think that's a nice or good way to witness.
@GoodCatholicGirl Thank you for this:3

@GoodCatholicGirl A man was driving his mules down the road when they stopped dead in the tracks in the middle of a mud puddle. No amount of cussing or swearing or yelling helped. An old farmer was watching him and eventually told the man that he needs to treat his mules with love. The man now thoroughly hot and frustrated threw the reins to the farmer and told him that if he was so smart he could get his mules to walk through the mud puddle. The old farmer looked around finding a large heave stick walked to the mules and gave each a smack in the head. He then climbed on the wagon and very sweetly said giddy up. The mules leaped into their collars and pulled the wagon to the other side of the puddle. The man exploded at the man. You told me to treat them with love and you beat them over the head with a stick!! The old farmer replied yes love is the answer but first you need to get their attention.
@hippyjoe1955 But by insulting people, doesn't that just cause them to shut down to anything else you're going to say?
@GoodCatholicGirl You sound like a good Christian. Many people forget empathy.
"As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions." -Romans 14:1
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@GoodCatholicGirl Actually sometimes it does. On the other hand most of these people are not going to change their minds anyway. They are evangelical atheists.
@canusernamebemyusername I don't know how good I am, but I try my best.
@hippyjoe1955 True, but it can't hurt to be nice and maybe win them over, instead of being mean and definitely driving them away.
@GoodCatholicGirl Love is the law that binds us all.

@GoodCatholicGirl Not really being hard on them. Just pointing out their foolishness using their methods. Any one of them that wants to have a serious discussion is welcome to discuss with me. Ridicule will be returned in kind.
@hippyjoe1955 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@kingkyri I have never denied being an evangelical Christian. A lot of atheists don't realize they are being evangelical atheists when they prattle on ad infinitum belittling a belief in God.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@canusernamebemyusername You are trying to misquote the Bible again I see. Did you know that satan tried the same trick on Jesus. it didn't work.
