They don't force you to believe anything.. they merely point out the facts and illogic of most religion. They hope, I believe to allow the religious person to wake up and see the truth.
#On the other hand many religious people DO actively try to force others to believe their claptrap.

@Adaydreambeliever I believe dragonkind exists as dragonkin myself and I state it as that, I don't seek to force it on others, Just state it, simple but they all be all "REEEEEE THAT IS FAKE"
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
@SeadragonPrincess OK logic.. saying something is fake isn't the same as trying to force you to believe something different
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
@Adaydreambeliever What is it their goal to say why it's so damn picky what if someone belives in something
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
@SeadragonPrincess I believe their goal is just as I said - to help people see reality. Btw I am not trying to denigrate your religion, I don't mind if people want to believe whatever, as long as it doesn't harm others. Many religions to cause harm though
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
@Adaydreambeliever My faith is not followed by much people at all and is mainly pro reptile and at most anti cat...because cats are invasive as hell
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
@SeadragonPrincess well that's where you maybe lose people.. when you state things that are opinion as if they are fact.. cats factually aren't invasive.. Rats are..
I am happy for you to believe whatever makes you happy.. as long as it doesn't cause harm.
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
@Adaydreambeliever you sure rats are invasive? Last I cheked rodents have always been here...staple diet of snakes and birds. Cats have been brought here by humans and are still let outside, and have caused 60+ species to become extinct
@SeadragonPrincess Cats were brought here by nature and have always existed outside.
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
@canusernamebemyusername bobcats and cougars are fine...but housecats which is the invasive one and the one i'm talking about...have not always been outside. They are a danger to the ecosystem
@SeadragonPrincess Then how did they evolve in nature?
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
@canusernamebemyusername housecats didn't they were selectively bred in EGYPT the small desert place close to the middle east. NOT europe NOT islands NOT australia (where they actually are mass killing them) NOT the US, NOT mexico...they cause mass mass mass mass mass extinction on such a huge scale but you got some asshats being all "oh lets let my cat out and hope he kills all the lizards and birds to extinction" like no
@SeadragonPrincess If you say so.

@SeadragonPrincess This is what I found...

According to a recent study by Claudio Ottoni, cat domestication took place in two strains, but all domestic cats have a common ancestor: the North African / Southwest Asian wildcat, Felis silvestris lybica (Ottoni and others 2017). By studying ancient cat DNA from all over the world, the researchers found that cat domestication began in the Fertile Crescent (in the Neolithic period) and accelerated later in ancient Egypt (in the Classical period) (Ottoni and others 2017).

Other scientists have also discovered another potential instance of cat domestication. J.D. Vigne studied skeletal remains of cats in China and found that there may have been a short-lived domestication of leopards in China, independent of domestication elsewhere (Vigne and others 2016). However, they did not find evidence that any present day domesticated cats are related to leopards, so if there was a time that they were domesticated, it did not last (Vigne and others 2016).

The evidence from Ottoni’s study also gives an explanation for the way cats spread around the world. By analyzing the ancient DNA of cat remains found in port cities, the scientists concluded that cats were brought along on ships, most likely to help protect food storages on board by killing rodents (Ottoni and others 2017). This allowed cats to spread across the world.

Cats were spread by humans @bijouxbroussard
@SeadragonPrincess Yes. As both pest control and companions.
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
“Pest control” like solving cancer by shooting yourself in the head. Yeah they do eat rats...but also birds and lizards, last two they do so until they are extinct@bijouxbroussard
@SeadragonPrincess But that was why they were domesticated and brought worldwide, because of rodent infestation and the accompanying diseases at that time.
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
Even so they are invasive just like iguanas and if they deal with them by killing all of them...same shall be dine with cats @bijouxbroussard
@SeadragonPrincess I love cats. Mine was an indoor cat and companion, who simply kept mice away. She never killed anything else. And she was spayed, so she didn't have any litters, either.
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
That is good and so long as they remain inside i am fine with cats too...when they are feral however they are fair game to kill@bijouxbroussard
@SeadragonPrincess Do you live in the U.S. ? Many states don't see it that way, and people have paid a lot in fines for killing animals rather than contacting Animal Control.
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
Yeah i live in the US and why not fine people for killing a ton of iguanas at a time hell fine them for killing invasive feral hogs while you’re at it...@bijouxbroussard
@SeadragonPrincess In some places they do.
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
Iguanas are invasive and that state wants them dead and feral hogs tear up everything@bijouxbroussard
