Are the sands of time sinking? [Spirituality & Religion]
We're at the end of another year
Where has it gone?Time is passing very quickly. This is a theme that runs through the Bible, in the book of Job time is compared to a weavers shuttle, in the Psalms to grass growing today and tomorrow cut down, and in James our lives are likened to a morning mist which soon disappears. I often think of this poem
When as a child I played and wept, time crept
When as a boy I laughed and joked, time walked
Then when I became a man time ran
Later as I older grew time flew
Soon eternity begin time gone!!
We don't know how long we have on earth, we need to get right with God now, we need to accept His amazing offer of eternal life!!
