Every gambler knows the trick to surviving, is knowing what to keep and what to throw away. Are you willing to gamble with your soul? [Spirituality & Religion]

I believe in Jesus and I experienced His saving power. Unbelievers don’t know Him, so they are naturally cynical, sarcastic, rude, and disrespectful to the point of using curse words as adjectives towards the character of believers. Then call us “haters”.

They are mostly upset when I say I know Jesus is real and alive. I do...there’s no guessing about it, since I experienced Him. That’s not arrogance on my part. Its experience. When you know, you know. There’s no way around it. Just like when people know they know someone, and have fallen in love with them. They’re convinced of that love, without question. That’s not arrogance...they know what they know. I know what I know, and when I experienced Jesus, I was just as surprised as anyone else, that such a thing could happen. All I did was show faith and took Jesus at His word, and that opened the door of communication. When you refuse to believe, you do nothing but tie God’s hands to help you.

If you truly want to know God, then you must be willing to communicate with Him on His terms...by faith. Prayer is the key to Heaven, but it is faith that unlocks the door. One must remember...God is Spirit, so if you want to communicate with Him, you must do it by faith, from your heart, your mind, and your will. You must exercise your belief, and don’t think you have none, as each of us have been allotted a “measure of faith” to believe in God. It was set in you, the second you were born.

Paul said in 1 Corinthians, "I say to everyone among you, not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith." When I proclaim by faith that I know who I believe in, and exactly why, I’m not thinking of myself as being better or higher than anyone else. What a fool I’d be to boast that I received salvation, as it was Jesus that did the saving, not me. Further, salvation is available to each and every one of us...not just me. We are all loved and wanted by God...equally! Lest anyone should boast!

Speaking of boasting....there were those in Jesus’s day who mocked believers as well, though they didn’t have a clue as to who Jesus was. Really makes sense, doesn’t it? That’s right... Hardly! Then there were those who assumed they knew why believers made the decision to believe. That...is arrogance...and they were wrong. Jesus has never been a crutch to believers. How arrogant to assume believers can’t face life or stand on their own two feet. It’s a cheap tactic to undermine believer’s salvation experience and the power of God. Believers don’t worship God because they have to. They worship Him out of love, because they want to, and because they understand His great sacrifice for them. He deserves love and honor.

Those who might use God as a crutch, points to someone who's trying to be "religious". They don't know the difference between religion and relationship. If one is using faith to run away from something, justify something, or to take a shortcut to peaceful living, then yes, for him or her, faith is a crutch. For others, it is the heartfelt desire to have a relationship with God, as I do.

You simply can’t understand things of the spirit, until you experience them. That’s exactly why scripture says that the gospel is foolishness to those who don’t know Jesus. They simply cannot understand something that they’ve never experienced...let alone judge someone for following Jesus. Supernatural things are not in our realm of reasoning. It’s not something we’re familiar with, so logic cannot grasp it. Naturally, one can’t see spiritual entities, so that’s why it takes faith, and that’s why God said not to lean on your own understanding when it comes to Him and trying to figure Him out, because you’d be wrong every time.

When I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I received the Holy Spirit, as promised in scripture. From all I experienced the next day, that made it easy to have faith in Him, as then...I didn’t have to guess. I knew He was real.

Having taken that step of faith, I can tell you firsthand, Jesus is exactly who He claimed to be. Further, I know that things work just the opposite from how they work here, in the spirit realm:

Man, in his absolute arrogance and ignorance, says to God: “Show me! THEN I’ll believe!

God, in His absolute love and mercy, says: “Believe. And then I’ll show you.

Notice that each denomination claims to love everyone. If this is so, why do so many mock others? That doesn’t sound like we’ve learned to love, or DO love, at all. Whichever god one serves, I think we’d be more apt to be blessed, if we choose not to sit in the company of mockers, whose delight is typified by verbal insults or other acts of disdain, and whose information is flawed. It is associated with ridicule, scoffing, and defiance. Mockery is a dishonoring attitude that shows low self-esteem, judgement, contempt, and open hostility. It reveals much about one’s own character.

Who will you believe and follow? Naysayers with no experience whatsoever, or knowledge of God, yet mock Him, and those who do....or God, who is incapable of lying, and perfect in every way? Surely you know, scoffers are not smarter, nor wiser than God. Nor do they have the right to change or reset God’s own standards. They just think they do. The wrong road, will take you down a path that leads to a destructive ending. On the other hand, you can choose to live in Heaven with Jesus, for eternity. I think you’re intelligent enough to know which to choose, which is wisest, and for the best results. I’m hoping to see you in heaven, so I pray you make the right choice. This is not a game of chance. Don’t gamble with your soul. There are no second chances once you die. Jesus said....”The fool says in his heart, there is no God.”

I would gamble my soul for power because the only thing that matters to me is family and I would take on whatever fuckin hell to be able to protect them even gambling my soul.
