15 seconds into this "movie" and I am done. If you need to put your religion on fake money to "trick" people into reading it, I am going to guess your religion isn't that good to begin with.

@Pherick Don't the Americans have laws about counterfeiting currency? Here in New Zealand, one needs to be very careful when uttering anything that purports to represent legal tender.
Pherick41-45, M
@newjaninev2 We do, but I think as long as they aren't trying to pass it off as fake money they get around the law. aka they aren't trying to pay for anything with it.

Though its a well-known tactic here in restaurants that these fundies will not leave a tip, but leave one of these bills folded up under a cup or something. So the wait staff thinks they got a tip and when they pull it out and look, its this fake crap.
newjaninev256-60, F
@Pherick Oh, that's soooo duplicitous! Still, I guess they're exempt from the normal rules of decent and ethical behaviour because, well, their magical entity takes precedence.
Pherick41-45, M
@newjaninev2 Indeed! I also never understand the mindset. They want someone to read and take in what they have on this fake bill, but they give it to them in such a mean and twisted way, no one who gets a bill like that is going to do anything but crumple it up and throw it away all while cursing the person who left it.

Whats the point?
Bushranger70-79, M
I'm not sure, but that sounds like trying to pass counterfeit money to me.
Pherick41-45, M
@Bushranger I think the idea is that here in the US, a tip is not guaranteed, so its not part of the bill. So this fake money tract isn't really "paying" for anything. Its a small shitty loophole, but they love to exploit it.
Bushranger70-79, M
@Pherick OK, but very underhanded and devious. But not surprising.
Speedyman70-79, M
I should imagine 15 seconds is your conentration time with anything! 馃槃@Pherick
newjaninev256-60, F
@Pherick they'd be out of luck here in New Zealand... we don't tip. It'd just be automatically scooped up with the rest of the rubbish on the table 馃槀
Bushranger70-79, M
@newjaninev2 Same over here.
Pherick41-45, M
@Speedyman shhhhh adults are talking.
newjaninev256-60, F
@Bushranger Actually, whenever I'm in Oz I have to be careful in coffee shops, because we pay when we order, and so it's easy to forget that I haven't paid, and to just stand up and leave ). I've been challenged a couple of times (fortunately, they understand when they realise I'm a Kiwi)
Bushranger70-79, M
@newjaninev2 Around here it's pretty much all pay when you order, with the exception of a couple of better restaurants. But we are in the sticks lol.
Bushranger70-79, M
@newjaninev2 Speaking of being in the sticks reminded me of something. My wife and I were in a town in western Queensland called Boulia. My wife went to the supermarket there (think corner store with aisles and checkimout) to stock up for the next leg of our trip. The only bread she could see was white, so she asked the checkout girl if they had any wholegrain. The girl looked at her with disdain and "no we don't. You do realise we are in the desert out here". Sometimes we can take things for granted.
newjaninev256-60, F
@Bushranger lol! No chance of flax seed and sourdough, huh!
Bushranger70-79, M
@newjaninev2 My wife certainly remembered to be less demanding at the next town we stopped at. I'm getting itchy feet wanting to get back out there.
