A Righteousness That Comes Strictly By Faith [Spirituality & Religion]

How absolutely exhausting it would be, to constantly try to earn God’s favor, before we could ever be saved. That’s why it takes faith alone to come to God, and works count only after one is saved. Even then, works are not for the purpose of winning God’s favor! They are done out of love for God.

When did the blood and burnt offerings fall out of favor?
@Tastyfrzz
Once Jesus, the real reason for the sacrifices showed up, there was no longer a need.

@Tastyfrzz Exactly when Jesus became the Ultimate Sacrifice and died to cover mankind’s sins, once and for all time. Then HE became the only Mediator between God and man. As stated in Hebrews, this is when priests were no longer needed to mediate on man’s behalf, nor animals sacrificed.

Keep going sister, keep going.

Yes, indeed! If it were the other way around, we’d be doomed for every little deed, walking around scared to death we’d make some mistake and be doomed. That is not scriptural. There is no fear in perfect love. God’s love is perfect. Not wish-washy. We’re not expected to be perfect, but we’re also not expected to use God’s Grace as an excuse to sin.
