@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Some archaeologists studying the new kingdom Egyptian period show the oldest references to a Yahweh outside of Biblical sources was a god worshiped by that named by a a nomadic group of edomites. Zoroastrianism might be the origin of monothesism I think you mean.

@canusernamebemyusername the Aten? That's another contradiction I've been told about the origin of the Abrahamic religions: they started with Moses as a priest of Aten. The connection from Aten to the Edomites is a new pet theory to me
