Because He won’t be treated disrespectfully, then demanded to perform by people who don’t know Him, yet mock and deny Him, then have the odasity to treat him like some side-show Houdini, or cosmic genie, asking for favors and miracles. God will not be mocked. God sets the standard. Not us. Who are we to question such a great God? People want everything from God, yet want to give nothing in return. Some say they’re smarter and wiser than God. God calls these, fools, and rightly so.
