@Underconstruction:I'm from Morocco, The Eid is a special day for us, many Muslims make a special effort to wear new clothes or their nicest outfits, attend the prayer at a mosque and to listen to a sermon. They also personally greet or send paper or electronic Eid cards to family members, friends and business associates and give gifts to children. The day begin with the prayer at about 7 a.m, after that we come back to our home to slaughter the sacrifice "is a cow or a sheep", after that, in accordance with the religion custom we first grill the liver and we eat it as a breakfast🍢🍢 😋. On Lunch, we cook "Tkaliya", this is a bowels dish, don't think that is so disgusting or sth like that 😂, not at all it's very delicious, we make sure to clean it very well before cook it. At this day and the days after, families visit each other and make banquets and we have fun together. And we have to -according to our Prophet Mohammed- eat a third of the sacrifice, share a third with family and friends and dole out a third to poor and needy people ☺ I hope that I give you some ideas about our Eid ;)
@MeddiPipa: Thank you very informative. I appreciate it. Happy Eid.
