Stopped watching this trash at around 100 seconds. Conflating evidence of unknown to evidence of a deity is beyond absurd, and the claim that such a line of logic is even vaguely scientific is utterly laughable. And DNA is not evidence of a deity; it's evidence that evolution is a powerful thing, and that billions of years is a long-ass time, both of which we've known for centuries.

@BlueVeins Why not at least try and be honest...you never intended to listen seriously to what he had to say no matter what.
CookieLuvsBunny · 31-35, F
@BlueVeins If you try to debate with these people they will resort to name calling after the first text.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Abrienda
That is so true.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Abrienda If there was any indication that the video had anything to say that isn't both blatantly bullshit and hasn't been done to death, I'd consider taking some time to weigh the arguments presented more seriously. But everyone and their mother has already seen these same flimsy arguments 900 times, and anyone with half a brain and a little intellectual honesty can easily refute them. If I wanted to listen to a bunch of crayon-eaters make pathetic arguments in bad faith, I'd turn on cable news.

@Pfuzylogic I mean really...100 seconds? How can anyone respect that? Certainly not a good example of the "scientific method". By the way how was gravity created ...or did it just kinda evolve?
Ynotisay · M
@Abrienda And yet you made a judgement about someone based on a few sentences, right? Let me guess. Christian.
BTW...how was gravity "created?" Seriously? Uh...wow.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Abrienda
😂 I love your humor.
I find the atheists to be incredibly close minded.
I just had one block me because she self
Imploded because I wouldn’t let her make fun of the Bible.

@Abrienda
I mean really...100 seconds? How can anyone respect that?
Uh, anyone who knows how formal arguments are conventionally structured. Videos like this start by saying what they're going to say, and by the 100 second mark, one can have a pretty good idea of the video's contents. That's actually a point in the video's favor.
Certainly not a good example of the "scientific method"
The scientific method is a method of figuring out how the universe works, not determining whether it'll be worth my time to watch a YouTube video.
By the way how was gravity created ...or did it just kinda evolve?
Irrelevant question. Neither of us know, and that isn't evidence of anything. There could literally be infinite possible explanations, and you seem to be just blindly accepting one in particular.
CookieLuvsBunny · 31-35, F
@Abrienda Gravity is not an entity. It is a property
Pfuzylogic · M
@BlueVeins
Careful, she has the ability to tear you apart. 😉
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Pfuzylogic Here's to drawing conclusions about a gigantic group of people based on a limited pool of experiences.
Pfuzylogic · M
@CookieLuvsBunny
What 😂
BlueVeins · 22-25
Pfuzylogic · M
@BlueVeins
Says the child.
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@Ynotisay I judge people by their acts...how else should I? "I stopped watching after 100 seconds" is not a mature statement, period. Doesn't matter if I am Catholic, Jewish, Moslem, Mormon Hindu or atheist...it's not.

And yes...explain to me the "evolution" of gravity...I would not say "creation" of gravity cause it might have sent you running into a safe space after only 10 second this time...
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Pfuzylogic Hey, hey-- the fact that you're an old fart has nothing to do with this converation.
CookieLuvsBunny · 31-35, F
@Pfuzylogic Gravity is a property exhibited by objects and not a thing in and of itself
Pfuzylogic · M
@BlueVeins
You have no idea what you are talking about so speak to the hand. 😉
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@BlueVeins Wow...now THAT was VERY mature. You sure silenced him with that.
Pfuzylogic · M
@CookieLuvsBunny
More accurately it is a force.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Abrienda
And yes...explain to me the "evolution" of gravity...I would not say "creation" of gravity cause it might have sent you running into a safe space after only 10 second this time..
Why the Hell are you demanding an explanation to gravity? Can you provide an explanation for gravity, please? Dead serious, because every time I've heard that used as an argument, I've never heard anything more specific than something along the lines of "Gawd did it!" which, without any explanation as to how he/she/it did it, isn't really better than no explanation at all.
Ynotisay · M
@Abrienda Of course it's a mature statement. Mature people don't waste their time or create their belief system based on the opinions of others.
And that's why, as a mature person, I'll ignore your juvenile question. I'll also do my best to not laugh at you for your 'safe space' comment. That just screams 'parroting child' to me.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Abrienda Hey, you pull the age card, you get the age card pulled on you back. That's 100% fair and reasonable.
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@CookieLuvsBunny Really? That's your answer? Well then I am defeated.
CookieLuvsBunny · 31-35, F
@Pfuzylogic You tell everyone who disagrees with you the same thing. You could type what you know about any subject double-spaced on a match book cover
