There is nothing that will convince me to believe in him.
@Enough4me Ask yourself. "Am I extremely emotionally invested in an entity in whom I don't believe?" You should be clear your mind and be in a quiet place when you do.
Are you extremely emotionally invested in an entity in whom you do not believe?
Only 'you' know the answer to that, but it tickles me when I run in to people who spend a lot of time grinding an ax with a paradox like that! I'm not saying 'you' do, it just reminds me of people who spend so much time 'shaking their fist and stomping their foot' at something they are absolutely positive does not exist! 🤔

I am not saying that I am right. I am saying that I do not believe in the God that the bible refers to. I do not believe because I choose not to. The same way many of those that do gain comfort from it, I gain comfort in knowing there is a real possibility that he doesn't.
@Enough4me Like I said, I'm not saying anything about 'you' in particular. Your statement just caught my attention.

@puck61 [@puck61 I understand that. I also understand why you felt the need to reiterate it. No worries
