You don’t have to be afraid. The Bible makes it clear that those who are born again, will be raptured out of here before the Great Tribulation begins. However, this easy to understand book, would help you understand the book of Revelation so much better. It’s at Amazon.com. I plan on getting one, too.

@LadyGrace I feel like I’m talking to someone who is either brainwashed or brain dead...it says we will meet him in the clouds and the elect will be gathered from the earth and heaven, your little picture is adding words that aren’t there and twisting the words that are to make it sound like two events.
I have read, and perhaps you should too. Your book on revelation mentions rapture but yet revelations has only one clear picture of Jesus returning, and it is in the clouds where he is at, but he doesn’t just remain there nor does it say that he does.
If you’re going to use pseudo logic to justify lies and then call me a liar, don’t waste my time and don’t talk to me. If you care about the truth at all, get reading and research for yourself and come back to apologize.

As usual, you’ve shown your true pitiful “macho” attempt at strongholding.....a common characteristic of one who has fallen to mockery. Unbelievers sometimes mock God, take His name in vain, attack the Bible, make fun of churches and ridicule anyone who follows Jesus. This doesn't come as a surprise. Especially when they don’t know the Bible.
You know, your really quite arrogant, misinformed, and uneducated when it comes to the Bible. You say the Bible is a book of lies, above, given you reference scripture, and have not cross-referenced, and even when I present you with verses to back up scripture, you still say they are not in God’s Word. Chart or no chart, the Bible clearly makes distinction between the Rapture and the Second Coming. I suggest you study it, instead of making dead claims. Every one of those verses on that chart are in God’s Word. If you’d study, you’d see the difference between the two events. It’s obvious, you just don’t know your Bible, and then accuse me of being brainwashed or brain dead? Please...you’ve got more issues than Mad Magazine. Before you tell me what you think, first you should know I don’t care, for the simple fact, I don’t engage with people who only have the brain capacity to be arrogant and rude. @LadyGrace 1 Thes. 4 does not prove the rapture. It just states that at dead in Christ will not miss out on the return of Christ, as they will be resurrected at the time of his return. We definitely are not going to spend eternity in the clouds.
Also Rev 19:14 does not say the church will come with him when he returns. It says the army that follows him, referring to Micah and his angels.

@GJOFJ3 It says so much more than that. Many verses to back up the rapture, although that particular word was not used back then, but the GREEK word, harpazzo, means the same.
Careful study shows the followers of Christ who are still alive BEFORE the 2nd Coming of Christ AND before the Tribulation period begins, shall NOT taste of death! They shall be raptured out of this earth. There's a VAST difference between the Rapture and the Second Coming. At the rapture, God's people shall meet Him in the clouds and then be taken to Heaven. The verses are there to back it up. By contrast, at the Second Coming, Christ will come DOWN from Heaven and to earth.

@LadyGrace The rapture is a relatively recent man made doctrine.
Pre-tribulation rapture theology originated in the eighteenth century, with the Puritan preachers Increase and Cotton Mather, and was popularized extensively in the 1830s by John Nelson Darby[12][13] and the Plymouth Brethren,[14] and further in the United States by the wide circulation of the Scofield Reference Bible in the early 20th century.

@GJOFJ3 No. Not at all. Scripture tells of the rapture occurring first, as Jesus tells His followers He shall save them from the "Day of Wrath", which is the Tribulation period to come, and after that period takes place as prophesied, during the Battle of Armageddon, Christ's Second Coming shall occur to rescue His people, the Jews.
@GJOFJ3 Of course there are many theories, but still...very careful study of God's Word still shows that Christians shall be raptured from this earth prior to the Tribulation period, with plenty of scripture to back it. Given it is God's Word, it is not man-made doctrine. Even the chart shows scripture to back it up. It even states that "one shall be taken, and the other shall be left behind." Them more examples are given. Left behind?? For what? For the Great Tribulation period. If that were meant to be the Second Coming, when Christ deals with all evil, no one would be "left behind". God is giving one last chance to unbelievers to repent, so they will NOT perish, spiritually. That is the whole purpose of the Tribulation period. It's a wake up call!!
@GJOFJ3 None. They'll have been raptured out...saved from the Day of Wrath that is to come....the Great Tribulation. During the Tribulation comes the 144,000 ministers God sends, so more can be saved. He is not willing that ANY perish. Therefore, some shall accept Jesus as Saviour during that period, and there's where the new Christians come in, not taking the Mark of the Beast, and willingly suffer for the sake of Christ, and receive the Holy Spirit when they accept Jesus as Saviour, and go to heaven when they die.
These are people who could have accepted Jesus before the rapture, but instead, refused, or mocked, or cursed Him, and then had to face the Tribulation period. God in His great mercy, is giving them one more chance to turn from their sins and be saved, even after how they treated Him.

Oh no. Not at all. Maybe I didn’t make myself clear. There are UNBELIEVERS like now, who COULD have accepted Jesus as Lord, but REFUSE. Therefore....when the rapture comes, they’ll be left behind. They shall go through the Great Tribulation period, shall be given a chance to repent after hearing the gospel again. Some may accept. Some will not. That period in history, presents them with the ability to repent, be saved, then inherit eternal life in heaven when they die. @GJOFJ3
@GJOFJ3 Here, when Jesus is talking about the “elect”, he means those who were CONVERTED DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION PERIOD. That period shall be so violent the last 3 1/2 years of the 7 year Tribulation, God is saying that for those who were converted during that time...for their sake....he shall shorten the day, itself, lest no one survive.
