Do you believe in fate? [Spirituality & Religion]

Fate and karma are both ridiculous concepts in my book. How does one have a fate and free will? If your life is already scripted, why bother participating?

I believe in fate in hindsight, but I don't see it as something you can predetermine like how it's often used.

To an extent I believe in fate, but not in the generally accepted view.

To my understanding, it's the outcome that's determined, not the choice or action itself.

There's more to it than that, my view isn't so simplistic, but if I had to give a Cliffnotes version that would be it.

We decide our fate basis the decisions we make in present!
