Jesus wasn’t trying to be arrogant when he proclaimed he was the only way to heaven. [Spirituality & Religion]

He was trying to help us. He was saying, “Look....you guys are in a real mess here. You’re all in the same boat! Your sins separate you from your Heavenly Father in such a way, that you cannot even communicate with Him. He is so Holy, he cannot even look upon sin...so how are you going to communicate with Him, so you can ask to have your sins forgiven, and be in good standing with Him? Having your sins forgiven, means you can spend an eternity with your Father in Heaven. If there was sin in Heaven, it wouldn’t BE heaven, so you need a way to reach and communicate with Him. This is why I came...to help you get there. Without Me speaking to My Father on your behalf, you won’t be able to get there. I can do that, because having no sin in Me, I can go straight to the Throne of God, without staining it with sin or dragging it in with Me. So you see? Without my help, your chances of getting into Heaven, are ruined, because not one person on Earth is worthy enough to take my place, nor is anyone without sin. He who says they are without sin, is a liar. Now you know why I say, I am the only way to get to heaven.”
