- a serial killer who has always believed in God and worshipped him

or

- an anti-religious atheist who has never done any harm to anyone and always helped people in need

According to Christian dogma, they’re both going. But, if you absolutely don’t believe in Christianity, you can’t go to hell, because by definition and by the nature of belief you can’t go somewhere you don’t believe in.

The serial killer’s going because they believe in Christ and haven’t obeyed the Ten Commandments.

Telling an atheist they’re going to hell is an empty threat.

You're wrong, If the serial killer believes in Jesus and has accepted Him as Lord and Savior, He's not going to hell but has passed from death to life. Therefore he's a new man in Jesus Christ and has been forgiven of all he's done. He will not kill anymore.

Since there are no such people that are atheists, this line is empty in itself. However, the skeptics disbelief in hell doesn't change the fact that there is a hell as well as there is a heaven. Disbelief in the one true God, Jehovah, doesn't make Him go away, it just means that your disbelief is only your opinion and not actual truth.

@VSonMe Not according to the 'atheist code.' As long as you're alive, you're going to believe in some type of god or idol instead of the one true God, Jehovah. You'll put your trust and faith into that god or idol which could be anything.
