From my understanding both will. It says it a few spots I’ve read ( have nott finished it yet) that basically we’re no good beings but boy we sure are lucky God decided to love us because of Jesus sacrifice or we’d be damned too. It reminds me of an abusive relationship, “ I love you so much but if you don’t give me attention I’ll hurt you” I’ve been struggling quite a bit to grasp the reading as I’ve also been told by others to think of God as a father. But no sane parent punishes their children forever as it seems this particular Father will if you don’t do as he says. I can’t be certain what I think is the most realistic outcome in terms of what comes after we perish. But I do think if there is God, Jesus, the afterworld etc then it’s highly plausible that corrupt men reaches the book with their own words sometimes of hate, separation etc which would soothe my soul to believe that the creator didn’t think & treat beings as he supposedly has/ does
