@daisymay Yes, He was and still is. Don't you think it broke His heart to see those children abused like that? He still has a plan for their lives and turn the evil that's been done to them and make it work for good. As long as those children are still alive, Jesus is still their hope.

What did you want God to do, become a dictator? What good would that do? His ways are higher than our ways His thoughts are Higher than our thoughts. Do you think those religious leaders are going to get away with what they did to those kids? Don't you know that we will all stand before judgement seat and be judged for what we did in this life? We, the children of God, will be judged first for how we used God's good gift of salvation. Then comes the judgement of those who reject God's gift of salvation. Either way, His judgements are righteous and true. That is a mark of a loving God.

No, there is no spiritual punishment waiting for religious leaders who abuse and rape children.

The mark of an omnipresent, omnipotent deity of love would be not allowing these atrocities to be committed in the first place.

Stay blinded by your belief, I don't care, but don't try to convince me I should just let your deity sort it all out, because it doesn't exist.

These atrocities exist because of the fall of mankind and not because of God.
