When I was a kid the Catholic Church represented God and was holy and [b]perfect[/b]—even when it clearly wasn’t. I’m not religious any more, but I never thought I’d live to see the day when the Pope was admitting to fallibility and apologizing. Although he’d do better to ask forgiveness of his parishioners, that’s who was wronged.
