I Am Striving For Spiritual Enlightenment

Hm,interesting question. I'd like to think so but who am I to say that? The only thing I know for sure is that I know nothing, this Universe is far greater than my small human mind can comprehend. This might sound silly to you but I don't think there is anyone on this planet who fully understands how all of this works. I think we can all just speculate or sacrifice a large amount of our time in pursuit of the universal truth. I think I'm aware of more things than some people around me,but my journey is far from over. We all grow each day without even realizing it.

@Originalme: According to Enlightened Masters,life is mystery. Human beings are hardwired to attain Enlightenment and reveal the secret of this Universe.🙂

@Joymoon143: I sure hope so! I'm going through a phase where I am questioning everything. My enlightenment process is far from being complete and I'm just stuck and confused. For me my awakening experience was very painful,I couldn't control my feelings and all I wanted was to run away and cut all my ties with the society.I was overwhelmed with emotions. I still have an urge to go outside and just start walking in seek of the truth. Sometimes I even think that being ignorant is far better than being enlightened because now after all this pain and suffering the only thing I know is that I know nothing and that I seem to be completely lost.

What about yourself? Have you experienced a glimpse of enlightenment? How rude of me not to ask for your side of the story! :)

@Originalme: That's good sign of moving in to the path. Not only you but the whole Humanity is moving into the next level of consciousness. Only the people who are habituated for meditation can feel the shift.Others may feel like loosing something from their life.
Myself felt the glimpse of silence after trying the active meditation technique...if you are interested then i suggest that technique.

@Joymoon143: If it weren't for internet,I wouldn't know that I'm showing signs of an awakening soul. Unfortunately there aren't any Enlightened Masters in my country nor are there any good quality,trustworthy books from which I can learn. Main religion here is Orthodox Christianity (just like in Russia,Greece and Macedonia) and I can only find Christian scriptures. I was,however,always interested in Eastern teachings and they seemed to explain things far better. They guide you towards light and they encourage love,self development,kindness and non-judgmental attitude.

That sounds like something I should definitely look into. Thank you very much for your response,I always like to converse with people who are in pursuit of enlightenment and truth!
