If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. [Spirituality & Religion]

That’s one of God’s Promises in 1 John 1:9, and He never breaks a promise.

I try to stay out of these threads because i don't understand any religion . Can anyone explain how jesus died for my sins hundreds of years before i was even born? Also i have first hand experience of how the richest church on earth handles the demons within it. The catholic church is nothing more than a pimp to pedophiles ,Why does god let this happen in his name ? They say everything is part of gods plan.Did he plan for thousands of kids to be molested?
@kodiac You are correct!! Now, I don’t think it’s fair to say ALL churches do this...even Catholic....but certainly some do. I promise to answer your other questions tomorrow, as these old eyes are getting much too blurry. I promise I will.
Let’s take this slow. I don’t want to go into great detail and confuse you. I’ll answer each thing as we go along, but let’s address one thing at a time. Then if youhave anymore questions, I’ll address them.

God created everything perfect in the beginning. Even Adam and Eve in the garden. However, God did not want robots to fellowship with, so he gave mankind free will. Man abused that free will, and decided he was going to do what he wanted to do, even if it was in disobedience to God. So when Adam disobeyed God, that introduced sin into the world and caused himself and his offspring to have the sin nature. That separated all of mankind from God the Father, their creator. But the good news is, that’s where Jesus came in and gave us a way to have fellowship once again with God the Father, through the forgiveness of sins. Through Jesus, so we could have eternal life.

In the spiritual world, the wages of sin is death. We all have sin, so to keep us from having to pay for our sins by death, Jesus....who is sinless....took our sins upon him on the cross and paid them in full. That means we must ask Jesus’s forgiveness, so he can go to His Father in heaven on our behalf, and ask for His pardon from our sins, before they can be forgiven. God does that, declares you ”Not guilty!” and then you are forgiven, redeemed, and accepted into God’s family and home. You get a brand new home, and brand new life in Christ, having your sins forgiven, everyone of them, and you are declared righteous before God the Father. Your destination after you leave this life, is in heaven with God for eternity.

@kodiac Did he plan for thousands of kids to be molested?, you asked.

Certainly not. The evil we’re seeing in this world, is the result of sin in this world, which shows us exactly why we need Jesus. Some people don’t need an excuse. They choose to do evil, with or without the devil's coaxing. That’s not God’s fault.

Contrary to belief, God did not create sin or tsunamis. How could He, when He is perfect, and therefore, there is no sin in His flawless character? John 10:10 says, “The thief (Satan) comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” This verse makes it clear that it's the devil who steals, kills, and destroys—not God. Even nature is angry and rebellious in a sinful world. We see sin in the very nature of animals, as they attack and kill each other. In the perfect world that God shall make, the lion shall lay down with the lamb, in perfect peace and harmony.
