When you need God’s peace, over panic. [Spirituality & Religion]

The enemy (Satan) will lure us towards panic and worry, if we focus on all that is wrong in this world. He knows just what button to push, to set you off, but God offers us confident peace, when we keep our mind stayed on him, that can never be found in this chaotic world, without him.

[c=#BF0000]Isaiah 26:3 - You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.[/c]

You see that? That’s the key. Perfect peace comes to us, though we’re all frazzled and upset, by keeping our minds on Jesus. Ask for his help in choosing not to worry, but instead to pray, allowing his Spirit to guard your heart and mind in him.

We can only concentrate on one thing at a time. Why not think on things that are healthy for us? We can’t be hateful and grateful, all at the same time, and a heart of gratitude is good for your heart and soul, any time.

Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to those who are good and equitable but also to those who are perverse. (1 Peter 2:18)

Lovely... condoning slavery
Ah. A great lesson in loving our enemies, as well as those who treat us well. Anyone can love someone who is good to them, but it shows what a person is really made of, when they can love their enemies and show love like Jesus did to us, who put him on the cross and did not even deserve it. @SoggedNapped
