Yes, God gave us free will to choose right from wrong, to go left or right, and to believe in truth or lie. Nobody has the right to take that freedom from us.

@GodSpeed63 I doubt. That’s pretty much it. But I know what the teachings are. And I do think that the people who claim to believe but are unkind to others don’t represent their faith very well.

You're right. Religion without relationship can be deadly. God created us in His image and likeness. What does that really to you? Why did God create us, to worship Him though religious practices or to have fellowship with us?

@Phire1 I don't have the truth, it's the other way around, the truth has me. Listen to the Word of God on truth. "However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will tell you things to come." John 16:13. Jesus was speaking to His disciples before going to the cross. This was not for them only but for all who believe in Him for generations to come. This is why the truth is not mine but God's.

I worded it in reverse because it is the truth. The Truth has me, I don't have it. I'm talking about actual truth that can't be refuted; It's not what I believe or anyone else believes to be true, it's actual truth that no one can change. Remember this, belief follows truth, not the other way around.

Truth is truth. No one can change it anymore than they can change history. That's all I'm saying.
