@Pfuzylogic A bit yes. Cause even in our church we get pastors that beat their wives and are "protected" by that whole head of the house thing

Could you share the denomination of your church. It is sad that they don’t have bishops or whoever you have in charge address the domestic abuse. That is obviously not scriptural and doesn’t supplant the scripture I mentioned. Do you think that what happens in your church invalidates that scripture?

@Pfuzylogic Pentacostal, and the head of our church is a bishop. Of course there are preachings to love each other and husbands to treat their wives well, but still.

Then the pastors in good order should be referred to the Bishop in charge.
Aren’t you familiar with the scripture that speaks of structure and order in the church? Let me refer you to 1 Timothy 3 where it goes over Bishops and deacons.
Do you believe Genesis where it speaks of Eve coming from the rib of Adam?

Ohhhh yeah I see what youre saying. It kind of makes sense, but does that mean from a biblical standpoint a female is supposed to be under a male? it says wives should submit to husbands, but what about unmarried people? Is it the same principle

I believe that a woman should look for a man that she is comfortable in taking the head of the household. She shouldn’t marry anyone that she doesn’t respect like that.
