There is scripture that speaks of the husband as being the head of the household as Christ is the head of the church. Is that concerning for you?

The Bible, while divinely inspired, was written by humans, specifically men, and humans are fallible. It was written at a very sexist time by very sexist people, and it shows. Recognizing that and treating everyone, regardless of sex or gender, with the love Jesus commanded, could never make you a bad Christian.

@RaemaSnr You can only trust someone who’s preaching, if what they say matches up with what the Bible says. God said to test the spirits. Ask them at church where it says that in the Bible. I feel we either believe in the God’s Word and what it says, or not at all. There’s no middle ground. We can’t pick and choose which parts we’ll believe.
