Casting a black magic spell without suffering the consequences. [Spirituality & Religion]

I am interested in casting black magic, and I am curious how does one go about protecting themselves while casting something like a breakup spell. What is your advice on this?

I know nothing about it but I have a hunch you won't get much help if you're standoffish with the powers you are invoking. It's likely one of those situations where you're all in or you're out.
