Although some teachings are outdated and shouldn't be followed, I do believe there are some morals and lessons in religion that we should keep.

I rather not be guided by a higher power and do the right thing. Regardless if a religion doesn't agree with it.

Weve had other stories throughout time that attempt to teach the morality of the time without using religion. While i agree that the teachings of Jesus hold some value in this sense, i view them on par with Aesops fables....:-)
