I'm sure an atheist or an LGBT kid would have the same experience in a Christian household.

@SatanBurger I'm gay. I'm an atheist. My family is christian. That didn't happen to me. Some people have had worse experiences than me, I'm sure. But homosexuals being thrown off buildings is not a current thing in Christian countries

@Trevo This one girl below had a nice story about her Muslim father accepting her because she's lesbian. If you confronted her about being lesbian and Muslim in a real life setting, I'm sure she'd say the same as you about how her Muslim family accepted her being gay.

Moving on..

There's several countries that are Christian and catholic Govt ran where they don't have separation of church and state. In these countries the church primarily sets the policies and it's illegal to be LGBT so you can get prison time. They are often faced with death threats and face heavy abuse occasionally resulting in death from Govt officials because of heavy anti gay religious bias.

[c=#008099]Just because the news doesn't talk about it, doesn't mean it's not there.[/c]

The news doesn't report on the fact that in Africa they have child witch hunts because they blame children for their poverty. These are lead by evangelist preachers (Christian) who have gained a massive following over the years because they put out documentaries and movies so their known in the community practically as movie stars and run their own churches. They charge a price for "exorcisms."

These children are usually cast off as witches and if they don't die, their sent onto the outer villages away from everyone else and end up being horribly disfigured from being tortured.

The news doesn't tell you that now do they?

@SatanBurger I don't think you understand what this is about. This is not about Christianity being better (even though it actually is, if we look at the bigger picture). This is about Islam alone being bad as an ideology. If I wasn't aware of the wringdoings of Christianity I would not turn out to be an atheist.

One thing is interning though... What I'm doing here is denounce what's wrong with Islam. In your first reply you tried to justify it. Then you preceded by denouncing Christianity. Why? Why are you able to denounce Christianity but me denouncing Islam makes you uncomfortable?

@Emosaur By going on about a rant about the left which wasn't the reason why I commented. Either give me time to respond or don't I think it shows more about you.

@Emosaur You wrote it very passively aggressively and you know it.

@Trevo [c=#003BB2]Both Mohammed and Jesus never existed[/c] and there's plenty of historical reasons for thinking so, that to me are valid criticisms. I have no problems criticizing the fake made up martyrs of both your family's and the woman in the video. What I have an issue with is your post doesn't offer any actual criticism of the religion. It's not logically sound because of its use of bias.

I can find the same YouTube videos of Christians and suggest the same thing. To me criticism of any religion must equal sound arguments.

There is also an atheist on here whose part of the alt right and uses Christian fundamentalist science as a reason to be anti gay and is also very anti Muslim.

I think there's something to be said about false flags.

@SatanBurger I cannot see what isn't logical about what I stated on my post.

The example I provided and my personal experiences while discussing religion with Muslims are there to back it up. If you re-read it, you'll see that it didn't target the religion itself, it was about me not liking to discuss it with Muslims because they usually lose their patience pretty quickly. It doesn't mean o don't actually have a negative opinion on Islam. I do, of course. But I didn't provide proof or arguments on that because the post wasn't that deep.

There are many reasons why I don't support this ideology one of them being what you stated yourself: Muhammed never existed. His teachings are pretty much invalid. I won't go in depth because I know we agree on that one, so that's enough.

We all have ideas about things that we find to be true or wrong. We are all biased about something. But it doesn't mean our bias aren't backed up by facts.
