Hi there! Could anyone explain to me how Eid works? [Spirituality & Religion]

How do you greet people, what do you do? Is there some difference when you're talking with a Christian? I don't want to disrespect anyone and Google is kinda confusing me 😞

I saw a picture once of the end of this EID and the fasters were slitting anything on 4 legs, the streets and pathways were red.
Now whether that was fake or not I do not know, but it was live film and real blood.
