Neither. It is a realization of who we truly are.

Naturally, it is the soul that gets enlightened. Body is just a cage wherein the soul resides. The beautitude that transends the cycle of re-incarnation Characterised by the extinction of desire and suffering and individual consciousness.

Body get mature and mind get clarity and soul get liberation.

The spirit: and only in some eastern religions.
