Given the size of the universe being 46 billion light years in diameter it seems statistically likely that there is alien life elsewhere but also given the traveling times even at faster than light speed, the chances of ever meeting intelligent life seem highly improbable.

Other life forms must certainly exist but they don't have to have visited here to be called called aliens.

I highly doubt that we have been visited and certainly not in the manner many people ascribe.

Well Stephen Hawking thought so, he believed we need to inhabit other planet to save humanity. Also we need to get there before they come here to pillage our resources

I'm not aware of any conclusive evidence either. Certainly nothing comparable to anything we accept as intelligent life in our solar system, maybe galaxy. I understand the universe is so stupidly large other intelligent life is quite possible. It makes me uncomfortable that nice, kind, compassionate and common sense intelligent people believe they have seen aliens, been abducted. I dont know what to say to that.

As we're only a small solar system in our galaxy in the local cluster, undoubtedly.

I hope they exist. They are my only chance to get off this fucking planet.
