Because we fail to realise and accept that we are born to die and there is an end to every beginning. One who realises this truth can lead a contended and detached life.
Does it make sense to you, that God created us, just so we could die? Hardly. We were meant, and created to live, not die. Sin brought about the result of death. God did not create us, so we could die. But since man chose to sin, that brought sin into the world, and caused Jesus to have to die on the cross to pay for them, on our behalf. Contrary to belief, Jesus is our Savior. We are not gods, we are not smarter than God, and we cannot earn our way to heaven by good deeds. God made that very clear. If that were the case, then Jesus would not have had to die to cover our sins. Man has sin in him, and because of that, no amount of wishing or sacrificing, shall ever make man worthy enough to pay for his own sins. It took the sinless, perfect sacrifice to cover them, which was Jesus. @Mahesh]

Ms. Grace, you just ponder for a while, as to what that which is making you wake up in the morning, what is it that which is making you breath, making you feel hungry, and all other activities of your body. In our religion we believe that there is un seen force or energy in any living body (animal or human). this we consider as the god residing with in you.
If on a fine morning if the god in the form of energy vacates your body . then your physical body will become inanimate and all activities stop and you are declared dead and you will be a dead wood. people will be frightened to come near you and your(body) will be rotting with bad smell. So this proves your body and your sole are two different entites . your physical body is dependant on the sole and the reverse is not. In our religion we believe soul is eternal and it simply migrates and transmigrate from one body to another and from one form to another. To day you are a human, after your death the sole in you may take the form of a dog or pig or any form. Your body is not permanent, but the soul is eternal. you should not confuse that body and sole are one. they are differentfrom one another. your physical body is only a temporary residence to the soul. This will throw /discard your physical body aftersome time of stay (as you do with your dress, when once it gets dirty and soiled and you wear another new dress) and enters another new physical body which may be any form.
This phylosophy cannot be understood by all, so it is better to keep quite and do not blame other religion or faith. What ever your bible says keep it to your self and do not thrust on others or do not attempt to convert into your christianity.
@Mahesh Yet you do exactly as you tell me not to do. People here know I don’t “thrust my beliefs or try to convert them”. I share what I believe, like others share what they believe, on any given subject. No. God does not leave your body. The point is...people are not expected to become christian, catholic, muslim, etc. Religion never saved anyone...the person of Jesus did.

Religions fail us every time. I follow no one but Christ, because my faith stems from him, not man. Christian just means follower of Christ, not some religion, which is as He meant it to be.

The key: The determining factor of one's authentic faith relationship with God is not one's denomination, religious practice or performance in Christian disciplines, but rather the presence of the indwelling Spirit of Christ, upon confession of faith. As it is written, “if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. (Rom.8:9) Jesus' invitation always stands open for anyone to receive forgiveness, be welcomed into his family, and live eternally in heaven.
There were several messengers in the past .....nobody can save u until u try to save yourself....now what is the path to save yourself?? The answer may be different for different people....watch Sadhguru on YouTube.....u might get your answers...
Let me ask you then...why then did Jesus say there is only one way to salvation? “ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to my Father, but by ME.” John 14:6

There are not many paths to Christ. Only one is what Jesus said. He said, there’s a way that seems right to man, but the end thereof, is death. Meaning, spiritual death, apart from Christ. Proverbs 14:12. And why did Jesus say that one cannot earn their way to Heaven? See below:

Heaven cannot be earned:

1. Not by doing enough good things.
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us..." Titus 3:5.

2. Not by being baptized, joining a church, or obeying the Ten Commandments.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

* The price for your sins must be paid, but to bypass the death of Christ and try to earn your own way to Heaven is an insult to God.

@gaurangi
It's in your holy book
I respect that....infact I respect all religion....try to read Bhagwat Geeta also....may be you get your answers....I am not promoting Hinduism here but it's oldest way of living...
@gaurangi That is because you cannot even answer my questions. You don’t have an answer. Hinduism is not the oldest way of living. Jesus came first, to show us the way and why He came...so we may have eternal life through His precious Son, Jesus. No amount of philosophy will get one to heaven. Herod had his own philosophy too, but it proved not to hold up to the Son of God.

There is no such thing as heaven or hell as per our scriptures. you will reap the results of your good or bad deeds either in this life or next birth, which we call janma.
I can only laugh on your statement.....try to confirm what you are saying with Father of any gud church....sorry no more arguments....
@gaurangi Just as I thought. No answers.

“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse!” Galatians 1:8

“But anyone who denies Me (Jesus) before men, him will I also deny before My Father who is in Heaven.” Matthew 10:33

You mock the words of God, which is the Word of God, not me. That is a serious offense to Him. He will not be mocked. Galatians 6:7
We reap what we sow. Jesus said so.
@Mahesh Time will tell. Jesus said there is. I don’t trust man’s word for it.
@gaurangi No. That is not true that you respect all people’s beliefs. If so, you wouldn’t laugh at mine:

ok, leave it at that. Frogs in the well do not know any thing to themselves, nor will be prepared to listen and appreciate others.
@Mahesh Not when you teach another Christ, and another way to heaven. no. Jesus did not die in vain. We’ll leave it at that.
