Christians what keeps your faith going? [Spirituality & Religion]

@SW-User wy fear the alternative? if you are saved there is no fear. if that was all that kept my faith going i would not have the joy i have.

@ladycae The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom! Proverbs 9:10. I am not talking about being scared of the savior..but realizing we must be obedient or there are consequences! :D

that's not fear of the lord or awe of the lord, it's being scared you'll go to hell.

@ladycae Okay...let me be very clear! It's his way...(obedience) or hell!! Do you fear hell????? I do! I believe every word that Jesus told us. He declares that there is a literal burning hell waiting for those whose names are NOT written in the book of life. Unrepentant sin will separate us from God, and get your name blotted out of the book of life... I am not going to argue this...The Bible teaches Heaven sweet and hell hot. Heaven is for his children who have come to him in repentant faith...and hell will be the lot of the unbelievers. I said just what I meant and mean just what I said. God Bless and have a great day! Remember you can have your opinion and I can have mine..And we can agree to disagree. I believe the whole book...and I believe Jesus! He is the way, the truth and the life. :D There is some living right to this thing. The devil believes and trembles...It is more to it than just believing. Jesus said except you repent, you shall likewise perish...

@ladycae Everyone should fear going to hell if they are not right with God! As I said the alternative is HELL! And to get out of the faith would be NOT right with God...hence I fear the alternative.... Those who have ears to hear, let them hear!

@SW-User so now you are changing your response. as a Christians we have no fear of going to hell so no we don't have to fear it.

Jude warned the Bible Christians to earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints...By transgression Judus fell....READ the scriptures...Obedience is required of the saved people of God. "Trust and obey..for there's no other way"... If one obeys, then no, they have nothing to fear...but you must be obedient to the faith...You will fight a good fight of faith if you go to heaven...not just slip slide in on a banana peel...whatever soothes your conscience! I want the unadulterated truth...Bye..have a great day..not going to answer anymore accusations...Nor will I read any more if they are accusations!

@SW-User i apologize that you took my questioning what you said as accusations. they were not intended to be. they were merely questions because if you truly felt fear of damnation i felt compassion for you. but you kept changing your answers as though you had not said that. as for Judas he was always meant to play the part he did in the life of Christ.God knew that he would never truly believe and would sell Christ out for money. he then repented and hung himself out of guilt.
