Yeah, it's the size of aperture of the mouth hole making those two sounds, meaning that air is expelled under greater pressure with one. The gas laws in Chemistry and Physics describe the relationship between pressure, temperature and volume of gases. Particularly PV = nRT. This also explains how fridges keep stuff cold.
One is breath (from your body, body is warm) the other is just blowing the air around you which is just what fans do (why its cold).
