This is so true but I’m not there right now either
@Monicashowers I'm sorry, I don't follow what you mean by that.

@LadyGrace I have read the Bible a lot because I grew up in Christian home and believe there’s something to it. My parents say I’m a sinner because I’m lesbian. Which the Bible does talk about. So i don’t apply it to my life. Maybe I’m not ready yet?
@Monicashowers You have covered a lot of territory in your answer.
For one thing, your decision to follow Jesus is a personal one. Just because our parents may have been Christians, that does NOT mean that we automatically are Christians, ourselves. That is a decision only you can make. Only you must decide . I sincerely hope and pray that you will give this serious thought.
God only, knows your heart. You must decide whether you want to follow Jesus, or not. God does not look upon sin the way man does. People tend to categorize it , but Jesus does not. To Him, all sin is the same , because no matter what the sin, it separates us from God our Father. Talk to God about it. He knows your heart. He turns no one away.

This is very true. People do try to make different sins worse than others. I thank you for not bashing me on my life choices hun. I will give this some thought. I like your username by the way. Thank you and goodnight love
@Monicashowers Jesus said love one another. There was no "If" in his commandments.
Here's the key. If we want to know how Jesus wants us to live, we have but to read His Word. It leaves nothing to guess about. He sets the standard. Not us. The first step however, is one of repentance. Then follow by commitment on a daily basis.
Thanks for your kind words. Have a good evening. 😊

I do get kinda confused when I read it though. But I have several different but similar religions around me and they all have different views. So when I have a question about the Bible and try to talk to people about it I get more confused. I hope that made since lol. But maybe I’m just not searching enough? I don’t know
