A Critical Mouth = A Poor Quality of Life [Spirituality & Religion]

We've got to stop this Survival Mentality. Where do we get the idea that we are "just survivors"? Yes, that is something Satan places in our mind, because that certainly is not in agreement with God's Word! In Romans 8:37, Jesus informed us that we are more than conquerers through Him that loved us. God is no liar, so that is a fact! We must stop acting as if we have no control at all and are too weak to fight. If we are honest with ourselves, I think we can safely say that sometimes we just don't put up too much resistance...if at all. ๐Ÿ˜Š

While temptation can be difficult, Jesus did not leave us helpless. Why do we walk around as if we are so helpless and weak, that we cannot do anything about it? Jesus taught just the opposite. He said, "Greater is He (the Holy Spirit) that is IN us, than he (Satan) that is in the world."

Our greatest weapon against fleshly desires? Prayer! However, let us not forget that as we walk in the Lord and honor him, so will our walk prosper. Next, get in agreement with God. "Lord, I've read in your Word, where you said (This is where you put your verse in), and I believe that is true, and am in agreement with you, that this shall come to pass, as I put my trust in you."

WORDS mean something. They were not meant for idle chatter. They have great power. Notice that when God created the earth, He spoke it into existence. That's just how powerful the words are, that come from your mouth. They also reflect what is in our heart. "As a man speaks, so IS he." You are, what you think and say!

Did you know you can speak life or death over yourself? Years ago, I had a dear Christian friend, who believed with all her heart that just because her mother and another family member died at the age of 37, she was doomed to do the same. Well guess what. She did just that. She spoke death over herself and that is what she received. Think not? Proverbs 18:21 says differently:

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it, shall eat the fruit thereof."

Proverbs 21:23 "Whosoever keeps his mouth and tongue, keeps his soul from troubles."

God is not limited by your weaknesses. He wants to do the extraordinary. Stay connected to him. EXPECT God to bless. What we say, we bring to us. Thrive - not just survive.

Jesus said we have not, because we ask not! Ask Him to help you with your weaknesses, and He is more than happy to do that...if you are abiding in Him. He can't help you if he doesn't know you, or if you're living like the devil. You may not like that, but that's just the truth of the matter. God says so in His Word. " Be ye not hearers of the Word only, but doers, as well."

James, chapter 4, verse 3: "You ask and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts."

Stay connected to the Vine. Where you are, is where your blessing is. God bless you!
