You've read the Bible. Some, all the way through, but have you applied it to your life? [Spirituality & Religion]

@LivingHeretic no, that would not be logical to do so, as you say. There are many factors that hold people back from accepting Jesus as their Savior. However, this is a personal decision, that each and every one of us have to make . So we must not get off track and worry about what others are doing. They are accountable for their own selves. We can tell them about Jesus, yes, but that doesn't mean they will choose to accept him. History shows this. The main thing is to make sure that we ourselves are right with God. we are responsible and accountable for how we lived before God.

@LivingHeretic what if you die suddenly and don't get the chance to ask for forgiveness. the vast majority of people just die. no prelude, no warning. what a terrible loss of eternal life because you waited.
Going to turn in now, sweet people. Talk to you tomorrow! ❤

No, for personal reasons I have not applied it to my life. It does help a lot of people find comfort though, which is a wonderful thing.

Yes I read it, live it, apply it.
@BemyValentine Excellent. 👍

I'm definitely trying to. The last year or so, I have felt a little lost spiritually. It's surprising how even when I feel lost, I can still find comfort in the Bible. It brings me so much hope and joy.
@JessyA Yes, because it refreshes and unites your spirit with God's peaceful and loving Spirit again.

@Wildflowerr Knowing what you know, have you decided to follow Jesus?

@Wildflowerr If I offended you, I apologize. That was not my intent at all. I only asked a question, because even when some hear the gospel, they decide not to follow Jesus. That's why I asked and didn't assume. I figured you had, but just wanted to check. Sorry if I upset you.
@YoMomma That's good.

I can’t easily read a normal book with my ADD, I certainly didn’t read the bible lol. Did you read it completely?
@Blooo Some people can do that page by page. I'm not one of them, however, I'm sure I have, only not the conventional way. I felt it was forced the other way and I like the Holy Spirit to lead me on what to study and pray about. doing it the other way, just doesn't cut it for me. I don't feel the Holy Spirit when I read it page by page, as it's a duty. However, I do try to live all of its contents, daily. I don't believe I have the attention span to read it page by page, nor the patience. Hahaha

@Blooo can you listen to a big being read? there is an app that reads it out loud. even if it's only a few minutes a day it' worth it.
@ladycae Lovely! I forgot about that. Thank you for the reminder, Ladycae! 🤗

I don’t need that fairytale.
@SW-User Well then yes, this would not be for you. To each, his or her own.

@LadyGrace True.

Trying sometimes. And sometimes... I'm just an idiot
@veridane79 I'm sure God doesn't think you're an idiot. He knows your heart. His love is unconditional. That means, you're performance has nothing to do with His love for you or salvation. He accepts you unconditionally. One cannot earn their way to heaven. It is a free gift, given when you ask him to save you, and accept him as your Lord and Savior.

@Stereoguy Who does? 😊 But we strive to. We'll only be perfect, when we are in heaven.
